labor.

"detritus"
abandoned works

a finished work of unfinished thoughts.
the covers are PETG etched with a nail and filled with ink, sandwiched
between two sheets of paper, one of which is cut out.

the text was achieved with a gum arabic xerox transfer.

an accordion fold is a manageable way to bind
books without many materials.

The book is read in one direction until it flips itself over and one
is allowed to view the opposite side. the viewer can start
at either end. one side contains 4x5 fragments of
failed experiments, printed disasters and
disappointments. the opposing
side contains text
 describing
 "detritus".

paper is found scraps, bright white. bound with a length of bleached blue broadcloth. size is approximately eight inches square
